It’s not often that I post about something I read on digg but this time I just couldn’t help it.
This story brought tears to my eyes. It’s about a journal that a soldier stationed in Iraq wrote for his son that had just been born, in case he was killed while serving in Iraq. Unfortunately he was killed and the guys wife writes an article about the journal in the New York Times.
I couldn’t think what you would write about in such a journal or even how would you do it? What would it be like if the only way you knew your father was through a journal and what other people told you?
