Admittedly I don’t read my site using a RSS reader so I didn’t notice that my RSS feeds were no longer full text feeds and were being cut off. So thanks must go to fellow blogger, Richard who noticed that the RSS feeds were being truncated. A bit of investigation and it turns out that this is a new “feature”.

If you use the more tag on a post in the new WordPress everything after the tag doesn’t appear in the RSS feed. There is no way to switch off this behavior in standard WordPress but I (well Google) found a simple plugin for WordPress from cavemonkey50 that appears to fix the problem.
